In the 21st century, the once-battling characters of Fist of the North Star now lead peaceful lives in Japan. Kenshirou has found work at a convenience store, Raoh at a factory, and Toki is struggling with an illness as he searches for a job. However, their placid existence is disrupted by the arrival of Fighting NEET North Star's legend, bringing modernity to their old-fashioned world. Each episode features amusing short stories inspired by the Hokuto no Ken: Ichigo Aji manga. Buronson and Tetsuo Hara have whimsically reimagined the original Hokuto no Ken series with a parody spinoff gag manga. The single-page jokes center primarily on Souther, highlighting his tumultuous duel with Kenshiro, and his unpredictable appearances throughout the series. A recurring gag depicts a turbaned child relentlessly stabbing Souther's leg while he ascends a pyramid staircase, while another shows the sudden transformation of Rei into Souther during pivotal moments.
