As an optimistic third-grader and aspiring manga artist, Miho Shinohara never expected her life to take a dramatic turn until she met Mogu and Pigu - two fairy friends who were cleverly disguised as stuffed animals. Making a pact with Miho, the fairies promised to stick with her until they found their way back to their world, in exchange for granting her the magical ability to bring her sketches to life with a special pen and pad. Using this newfound power, Miho transforms into Lala, an incredibly beautiful teenager from her manga illustrations.
