Description:
Kuroda, a skillful artisan, crafted Hybrid Child - beings that are neither machines nor dolls, but rather an embodiment of the affection given to them. Though they possess human emotions and consciousness, they are not truly human and need love to thrive. Kotarou Izumi, the young scion of the esteemed Izumi lineage, faces judgment when he brings a discarded Hybrid Child he discovered in the trash into their abode, whom he christens Hazuki. His relatives repeatedly try to dispose of Hazuki whenever he is preoccupied, but by surmounting these hurdles, their bond and love burgeon. However, after a decade elapses, they confront an unsettling revelation: the lifespan of a Hybrid Child may not be infinite. Hybrid Child contains three brief accounts of love, chronicling the kinship between the synthetic humans and their possessors.
