Description:
In 2039, helper robots are widely used for various purposes. Keiichiro, who lost his family in a car accident and retired from his music career, discovers an outdated android in a dumpster. Despite being informed by a repair shop that the android is beyond fixing, he brings her home, only to find her making breakfast for him the following day. Thus begins a summer of companionship between a forgetful android and a hopeless boy. Kowarekake no Orgel was initially an independent OVA before receiving a longer theatrical release.
