Description:
In an instant, thirty thousand perplexed Japanese gamers are transported from their mundane lives into the world of Elder Tale, a popular MMORPG, with no way to log out following the game's latest update. Shiroe, a socially awkward college student and seasoned player, quickly overcomes his shock and sets off to investigate the boundaries of his new reality. In order to establish stability in the virtual metropolis of Akihabara, Shiroe must adjust to his new existence, guide others, and negotiate with the non-playable "residents." Naotsugu, Shiroe's hapless friend trapped after a long hiatus from the game, and Akatsuki, a diminutive yet fierce assassin who pledges loyalty to Shiroe, join him. With a mix of fantasy, adventure, and politics, Log Horizon depicts the gaming world from the perspective of a master strategist attempting to navigate a perplexing circumstance.
