Description:

Maison Ikkoku, an aging boarding house situated in the town of Clock Hill, is home to a peculiar group of lodgers. Among them is Yuusaku Godai, the most reticent of the bunch. Fed up with the constant ruckus caused by his rowdy housemates, he resolves to relocate to a more tranquil abode where he can study without disruption. However, his plans are thrown into turmoil when he meets Kyoko Otonashi, the new boarding house manager. Enamored with her from the moment they meet, Godai decides to stay put, believing Maison Ikkoku might not be such a dreadful dwelling after all. Unfortunately, Kyoko is facing her own romantic challenges, as she is a widow who lost her husband only six months into their marriage. Despite growing affection for Godai, she still regards her deceased partner with deep fondness, convinced that no other man can take his place in her heart. Nevertheless, with Godai's determination and the aid of the offbeat tenants, Kyoko may once again discover true love.
