Description:
The protagonist of the tale is Akira Nikaido, a typical high school slacker leading an unremarkable life. However, his humdrum existence takes a surprising twist after meeting a mysterious individual named Shirogane. Initially skeptical of Shirogane's claims of a shared destiny, Akira eventually lends his aid to his friend Aya in locating a lost object on campus. Unfortunately, during their search, Akira is confronted by a shadow creature. Shirogane reveals that the balance between the human and shadow realms has been disrupted and that Akira must become a "shin" to restore it. The anime series incorporates elements of shonen-ai, deviating from the manga's source material.
