Description:
Hachiman Hikigaya, a high schooler known for his nonchalant personality and belief in the futility of "happy" adolescence, holds a narcissistic and semi-nihilistic worldview. In fact, he thinks that anyone who claims otherwise is simply deluding themselves. As punishment for ridiculing modern social relationships in an essay, Hachiman is tasked with joining the Volunteer Service Club, whose mission is to offer assistance to students striving to reach their aspirations. However, the club's lone member happens to be the strikingly beautiful and aloof Yukino Yukinoshita, and Hachiman's newfound role as a frontline problem solver is not an ideal one for him. Despite this, as he and Yukino employ their sharp intelligence to tackle numerous student dilemmas, Hachiman's cynical perspective may prove to either hinder or assist him in navigating through societal dilemmas.
