Description:
While searching for Nyanko-sensei, Takashi Natsume stumbles upon a timid youkai named Mitsumi, who has been tasked by Gantetsu, a powerful ayakashi, to awaken a divine being from its slumber as the "Ishi Okoshi." Impressed by his dedication, Natsume offers his aid in fulfilling the mission, but they must contend with other entities attempting the same feat. Meanwhile, a stranger visits Natsume's friend Kaname Tanuma, causing concern as Tanuma's health declines. Natsume investigates and discovers a mysterious connection between the two, and as he uncovers the stranger's true identity, he becomes wary of the potential danger lying beneath their outward kindness.
