Description:
Saburou, a carefree high school student who once stated, "Who cares about what happened in Japan's past? It has nothing to do with my life," finds himself unexpectedly transported back in time to the Sengoku Era. In a bizarre twist of fate, he lands directly in front of the legendary general Nobunaga Oda, who pleads with Saburou to take his place, as the two bear an unbelievably striking resemblance. Despite his confusion, Saburou is given the necessary tools to prove his identity as the bona fide feudal lord, and Nobunaga escapes just in the nick of time. Now masquerading as someone he knows little about, Saburou sets out on a journey to impersonate the man who tried to unify Japan. Although his modern experiences and knowledge may come in handy, it's a far cry from the teenage boy's initial dismissal of the country's rich history.
