Description:
From December 3, 2002 to September 28, 2004, select episodes of the Pocket Monsters anime were sporadically aired as part of Japan's Weekly Pokémon Broadcasting Station, taking the place of reruns from the main anime series. These episodes were simultaneously broadcasted alongside Pocket Monsters Advanced. In the West, only the dubbed versions of these episodes, now part of Pokémon Chronicles, were made available. The Japanese version consisted of 16 episodes, while the U.S. release included 22 episodes, with the additional six episodes being sourced from previous movies and specials, including Pokémon: The Legend of Thunder!, Pikachu's Winter Vacation (2001), and Pokémon: Pikachu's Winter Vacation Episode 22.
