Description:
Utsutsu and Yume Hasegawa were abandoned by their abusive parents and had only each other to rely on. They were enchanted by the captivating red butterflies that mysteriously appeared in their world but were oblivious to the ghastly omen they brought. The Pupa virus was about to wreak havoc, unleashing chaos and cannibalistic behavior. The virus affected Yume to a great extent, transforming her into a ferocious beast with an unstoppable desire for flesh. On the other hand, Utsutsu only experienced its partial effects, which endowed him with the incredible ability to heal himself quickly. He had promised himself to protect his beloved younger sister and was prepared to sacrifice everything to fulfill this vow. The series chronicles Utsutsu's courageous efforts to rescue his sister and safeguard the world from her insatiable hunger.
