Description:
The realm of Auldrant is governed by The Score, an ancient system of predictions that dictate the planet's future. Even those who cause war and suffering are bound by it. To achieve the utopia prophesied in The Score, the nations of Kimlasca-Lanvaldear and the Malkuth Empire use Fonic Arts, which are magical abilities, to wage war. Tales of the Abyss tells the story of Luke von Fabre. As a child, he was taken away and lost his memory. He spends most of his time training with his sword in his manor. One day, Tear, a woman, attacks his mentor, and he defends him. They are suddenly transported to an unknown land, and their mission to return home becomes a journey to free the world from The Score's constraints or destroy it altogether.
