Description:
The focus of the tale is D, a "dunpeal" who is shunned for being born to a vampire father and human mother, but lauded for his skill in hunting vampires. He is tasked with finding Charlotte Elbourne, the daughter of a wealthy family who was taken under mysterious circumstances. Despite the Markus brothers and their gang also vying for the reward, D eagerly accepts the job since her father promises a substantial sum for her safe return. However, a sinister force has been manipulating the situation from behind the scenes, leading to a deadly trap that catches everyone off guard.
