Description:
In a peaceful Kyushu town resides Suzume, a 17-year-old girl who sets out on a new adventure. During her travels, she meets a young man who is on a quest to find a doorway. The pair discovers a devastated entrance in the mountains that Suzume is able to open. Unfortunately, this brings about the opening of numerous other doorways throughout Japan, resulting in havoc from a mysterious realm. Suzume gradually gains an understanding of the events, learns from her past experiences, and breaks free from her limitations. Her goal becomes to close the destructive doorways, leading to her own growth and development.
