Description:
Ayumu Tamari is plagued by an affliction called "Crystallization Syndrome." When under duress, certain parts of his physique solidify and transform into immovable crystals. Unfortunately, Ayumu's extreme social anxiety renders him incapable of conversing with his classmates, leading to frequent bouts of crystallization that compel him to repeat a year of high school. Ayumu's solace rests solely with his homeroom instructor, Kouya Onihara, whom he affectionately refers to as "Oni-chan Sensei." Kouya's obsession with crystals compels him to explore and research Ayumu's crystalline form, which he deems strikingly beautiful and intriguing. As Ayumu copes with scholastic pressure and the intricacies of a taboo student-teacher affair, he grapples with finding normalcy, controlling his emotions, and forestalling complete crystallization.
